Original Bullfrog Mines Syndicate stock certificate, dated what I believe is 1908, although it looks kind of like 1906. This is the classic BULLFROG certificate with the classic bullfrog underprint vignette in green, which generally sells for between $400 and $600. Incorporated in the Territory of Arizona. At the bottom, it has printed with a red line through it: San Francisco Office, 323 Mills Building. The Mills Building is still standing in SF at the center of the financial district on Montgomery Street. The mine was discovered by Shorty Harris in 1904, and the mine was located on Bullfrog Mountain in Nye County. Certificate has two holes from being stored in a spindle as many of these certificates were. Very fine with no major folds. |
